No!! Not like a kinky key party from the '70s --for you young folks, that was when people would go to parties, put their keys in a bowl and then later who's ever key they pick, that is who they "hook up" with.
I am in an ATC swap--which is an Artist Trading Card swap with my metal group. Each person makes 4 trading card size samples of their metal work. Send them in to the host. Then the host swaps them out to people. So I will get 4 cards back from other people with their metal work on them. OK, maybe this is why Jim says I am a dork. These are the cards that I made.

What did you just call me??
OMG!!! After knowing my hubs for 11 yrs, I just found out that he thinks that I am a dork!!! What!!??? He is crazy!! He has been really sick lately, so maybe it is the illness talking. So the next day, I asked him why?? Because I am light years from being a dork and am the coolest person that he knows. He gave some meager responses--like how I save things--Hello!! I am thrifty and basically making money by not throwing things away.
After defending my coolness, I said "you know what Jim, I should charge you money for just being with me!!! Ha I told him!! ---Then he said " Oh believe me!! I PAY!!" Thought that was a good come back for someone being really sick.

Etsy What???
Some folks don't know what Etsy is??? It is a website for people to sell hand made things. There are so many talented people out there. Basically what ever you want--they have some sort of version of it. and in every price range. I also like buying from Etsy because you are supporting small time artist and not big coorperations. I have and Etsy shop it is at
and also a facebook page at
You can also just type " The Junky Hippie" into facebook search and find it

Sweet Story About Love (thanks Jenn for sending)
A man and woman had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They had kept no secrets from each other except that the little old woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.
For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover. In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took down the shoe box and took it to his wife's bedside. She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the box. When he opened it, he found two crocheted dolls and a stack of money totaling $95,000. He asked her about the contents. 'When we were to be married,' she said, ' my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doll.'
The little old man was so moved; he had to fight back tears. Only two precious dolls were in the box. She had only been angry with him two times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with happiness. 'Honey,' he said, 'that explains the dolls, but what about all of this money? Where did it come from?' 'Oh,' she said, 'that's the money I made from selling the dolls..'
A Prayer.......
Dear Lord, I pray for Wisdom to understand my mateLove to forgive them, and Patience for hi there moods. Because Lord, if I pray for Strength, I'll beat them to death, because I don't have time to crochet.
Hummmm--my mother in law crochets alot ;o)

More from my crazy Renae
She drew this picture on wax paper. It is a hobo named Rupert, he can't afford cable. (I guess that makes you a hobo, Cheryl, since you don't have cable LOL) The other people in the pic are saying that they feel sorry for him. By the way, I didn't post a pic of the picture that she made for "Happy Poopy Day". You are welcome.
Hippie Grandma
You would never think that this mini van drivin, JCPennys wearin grandma was a hippie back in the day. As a matter of fact she was at Haight-Ashbury back in the day. For you young folks, Haight-Ashbury was two streets in San Francisco and it was THE hippie mecca. It was a bunch of hippie hangin out, smokin, and free lovin. Now if you ask her she will swear that she was not "that kind of hippie" So for mothers day I made these lil t-shirts for the babies that said "My grandma was at Haight-Ashbury and all I got was this t-shirt"

Lunch with The Girls
Friday was great!!--Managed to see my homegirls from Olney--Had lunch with 3 of them. OH how times have changed!!--Let's see--Lunch with the girls back when I was about 21yrs old consisted of "Girl what are you going to wear to the Fireside tonight" ---"Oh I don't know I am so fat!! Like I am in a size 3!!--How gross!!" ----OR----"Oh that is my Jam!!! I love that song (insert any Alanis Morrisette song title here) --"yeah I was listening to that today on my way to Dr. Bailey's class--- He is so stupid!! He gave me a C on that Freud paper!!! " ----OR----OMG!! did you see that guy??!! He is sooooo fine!!! I heard that he is security at that bar in Evansville. We gotta go!!?? I think they are only open till 3 am so we can just get breakfast after it closes--you in?? We can sleep all day Saturday."
Oh how care free life was!!
Lunch with the girls at 35 yrs old This is totally true however the names have been changed to protect the innocent! Me--"Susie, you had a C section--when you have to pee, do you have to go right then, really bad?" Susie--"Oh yeah, sure do" Sally--"ask Jane here about that!!--I was with her the other day at a (public function to be anonymous) and she peed all over herself!" Me--"What!! You just peed all over yourself??" Jane-"Yep!--we were laughing so hard and when I started peeing myself, I couldn't stop--I have had a hysterectomy ya know" Me- Well I peed myself my entire pregnancy--when I was puking" Sally--" I hope I don't puke when I get pregnant"

Momma's gonna have a good evening!!
We went to the Effingham Art fair. Picked up a lil something for our Momma Bingman for Mothers day (this is not it--sorry) Then they had my favorite wine in the world!! The Berryville Sweet Red Wine----made in good ol' Richland county. Only sweet things come out of Richland county right??? LOL http://berryvillevineyards.com/ It is actually a very reasonable priced wine, since the growers were there selling--got it even cheaper. So I got 3 bottles!!!
Day of Milestones
On Thursday--- My lil Tami drinking really good out of the sippy cup---Jackson's MO--whine till Mommy comes over and helps him. Also---My lil Jackson stood up in his crib!! I went in and he was holding on the the rail, laughing and shaking his head. I didn't take the time to get the camera for that one.
Heavy Metal
Some metal work that I have done--of course the top pic is my niece Ashlyn, that lil cutie will be a year old Monday--hard to believe. The purple one is for my nephew Brennan. He is about the theater. He is a theater major in college. He has come along way from playing "winged monkey #3" in the Wizard of OZ. He will be famous someday. The last one is something that I whipped up. I was playing with some cinnamon and used Pledge floor wax to put it on the metal. Yep that is the only time I will use floor wax---doing Artsy Fartsy stuff and not cleaning. Hhhhhuuuummmmm maybe I can make something out of that big noisy thing that says Bissell on it--Oh yeah, it is called a vaccuum.

Weird Girl Weird Tree
The babies love being outside in their swings!!! It is like Disney World to them!! A girl from Jim's work--Thanks Misty!! gave us the green swing and they were diggin it. The next day Mom and Dad Bingman gave us the other. I am planning on just telling Tami and Jackson that it really is Disney World so they will "think" that they are spoiled and not living the ghetto life--- See there is still a cauldron from Halloween on the porch, frying pan from feeding the dogs leftovers, and I edited out the half gallon jar of pickled okra that was on the pourch railing.

Babies 1st trip to Ophelia's Cup
Today I took the babies to Olney early this afternoon to meet Sheila. They did good for a while, then they were tired and CRANKY!! I had originally thought, "Oh if they are good I may be able to pop in and see a couple other friends" Good thing I didn't schedule any other visits. They were tired punkins and slept all the way home. Was nice to be back in the O town even for a little bit.

One Boy, One Girl
Time in a Bottle
I made this for my handsome Jimmy Jimmy. When we were dating, I made him a CD of love songs and one of them was Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce. I did the metal work on this and kissed some kisses in it. It is true I wish I had a million years to spend with my Jimmy Jimmy, I am still head of heals in love with him. OK I will quit because you are getting sick now.

Chateau Bingman (pronounced Be Mon)
When it is time for lunch, I get the babies in their hi chairs and I say "Welcome to Chateau Be Mon" I show Jackson the main course and I say "Monsieur, turkey and rice" and then I show Tami and say "Mademoiselle, turkey and rice" Then I say " you like?" by this time they are reaching for it so I dig in.
